House Rules for Short-Term Rentals

Please review the rules below ahead of your stay.

1. Check-in & Check-out - Check-in is from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival, unless otherwise confirmed. - Check-out is by 10:00 AM or 11:00 AM on the day of departure, as confirmed. - The key must be returned according to the instructions in your booking confirmation.

2. Number of Guests - The accommodation may only be occupied by the number of people stated in the booking, corresponding to the unit's bed count. - Additional overnight guests beyond what is permitted, whether indoors or on the property, are not allowed.

3. Order and Consideration - Please be considerate of neighbors and other guests, particularly regarding noise levels between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. - Disturbances to public order and nighttime peace may result in costs charged according to the security company's rate. - The accommodation may only be used for the purpose agreed upon at booking (normally recreational use).

4. Care of the Accommodation - Please treat the apartment/cabin and its contents with care. - You are responsible for any damage resulting from negligence by you or anyone in your party. - Any damage or faults must be reported to us immediately – please do not attempt to fix issues yourself before contacting us.

5. Pets - Pets are not allowed without prior approval from Stay in Sälen AB. - If pets are approved, this will be stated in your travel documents.

6. Smoking - Smoking is not permitted indoors in any of our accommodations. - Cigarette butts and ashes must be disposed of safely outdoors.

7. Sauna - The sauna may only be used for sauna bathing. - Drying clothes, ski boots, or other equipment in the sauna is not permitted – this poses a safety hazard.

8. Charging Electric/Hybrid Vehicles - Electric vehicles may only be charged at the existing charging station at the accommodation. - Charging via an electrical or engine block heater outlet is prohibited. Violations may result in a fee of up to SEK 5,000. - Charging is done on site according to the instructions at each charging station, at the guest's own cost.

9. Key - Please handle the key with care. If it is lost during your stay, the lock will need to be replaced. - The cost of a lost key ranges from SEK 1,200–5,000 depending on the accommodation and will be charged to the guest who lost it.

10. Wifi - Wifi is available in accommodations where stated in the description. - We are not responsible for any service disruptions caused by the broadband provider.

11. Cleaning on Departure - Final cleaning is not included unless otherwise stated in your booking confirmation, and can be ordered as an add-on. - Please wash dishes and leave the kitchen tidy, and take out the trash to the designated recycling station upon departure.

12. If Issues Arise During Your Stay - Please contact us immediately if there are any faults or issues with the accommodation so we can resolve them on site. - If you have not received assistance within 24 hours, please call us at +47 930 50 609.
